KUDOS and thanks go out to Julie Rasure for donating a laptop computer & to Geri & Harry Petry for donating a flat screen computer monitor to EARS. Both items are just what we were needing for our EARS office. You are all making a positive difference and we at EARS appreciate you!

My sincerest thanks to Boy Scout Troop 112, who did a tremendous job in making our beautiful benches. The boy scouts are the best and we all enjoyed having your troop visit EARS!

Angie and I wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the fine people of The Phoenix House, for their enormous help in preparing heated habitats for the monkeys. Fred, Jim and Sean have worked tirelessly, to build additional warm enclosures for the monkeys. In addition to those efforts, those guys have proven their love and devotion to the other animals of the sanctuary. When new volunteers arrive, the big cats seem eager to know, and become acquainted with newer people. After only two days, and after Jim greeting them each morning, they all greet Jim with excitement. After many decades of working with, and caring for big cats, I absolutely KNOW they are capable of recognizing and appreciating all which we do to create a comfortable environment for them. Our sincerest thanks to you Jim, Fred, and Sean, from The Phoenix House.

Tabby Tiger here, on behalf of Daunte, Zhivah, Diva, Sebastian and all the other big cats at EARS. I am the one that types best. We cats will never tell how we manage to use a keyboard so don't even think about asking. We big cats are especially fond of the humans known as Tony & Sandy Aiuppy and Dave & Carol Waymire, because they actually brought us red meat when they came to see us.
Love and Chuffs,
Tabby Tiger
P.S. Daunte, you'd better get out of Zhivah's tub!

Recently, EARS has hosted several chapters of The Red Hat Society. The ladies of The Red Hat Society are certainly among the most memorable of guests. Their attitude and demeanor denotes happiness, and complete gratitude for the work involved in providing a permanent home for the otherwise helpless animals. We, the staff of EARS wish to express our absolute gratitude to you, for your graciousness and appreciativeness for the work we do. You, my dear friends, are a bunch of real cool ladies.

Me and my friend Virginia Mae became good friends with Cassie. I loved all the animals, especially Norman. He was the most CUTEST tiger I saw. I will be volunteering every other weekend because of my big things including cheerleading and doing triathlons. I will be seeing a lot of you guys!! Thanks for the most heart warming adventure Mrs.Traci.

We loved visiting EARS today! All of my girls and I fell in love with the animals! The love and kindness we saw in the volunteers for the animals was heart warming. Gail and the others were so kind. The girls made instant friends with Cassie. It was truly a blessing for us to experience EARS, all the animals and wonderful people we met. We are so excited for our return visit. My daughter Virginia Mae, wants to volunteer every weekend! :)
Thank you again... God Bless !

I would like to pounce on this opportunity to let TEAM EARS know that each time I have been at the EARS Sanctuary for an event, I have noticed improvements. Things such as the benches that were made and installed by the boy scout troop, Ollie's new habitat, the bear enclosure, neat and clean grounds and habitats. I know that it takes many hours of hard work every single day at the sanctuary. I just wanted to let each and every one of you know that are responsible for helping in any way, that your hard work has not gone unnoticed! Thank you for all that you do for the animals of EARS. You are the greatest!
Most Sincerely,
River Rosie
P.S. I would also like to thank all the cats that helped me during my brainstorming sessions while building this site! I couldn't have done it without you!

Sometimes we overlook the people and things we take for granted. In this instance, I am referring to our EARS staff member, Angie Stroud, who has been absent of selfishness in caring for the animals, for the past three years. Angie is present at EARS six days each week and she is fast becoming more of a family member than a staff member. Angie is a "take control" kind of person, yet she is kind, gentle and soft-spoken when dealing with matters of urgency. She is the mother of three wonderful children, yet she successfully balances her time between the children and her duties at the sanctuary. Angie spends time nearly every day, in the habitat with our monkey, Joey, a macaque. Joey will only accept Angie to enter his living quarters, as he and she groom each other so lovingly. Thank you, Angie, for being here for Joey, and all the other furry residents and thank you, Angie, for being the wonderful person which you are.
