SABER & SEBASTION
Saber and Sebastian (brothers) came to EARS in December, 2000 as young lions who no longer fit the needs of their former owners. As soon as it was decided that they would be coming to the sanctuary, the volunteer staff set about constructing a spacious habitat for the two of them. Their turnout yard was built under a canopy of massive oak trees, where plenty of shade is provided for their comfort.
SABER & SEBASTION
Update 3/18/2010: Even though male lions normally are compatible in the wild, these two darlings decided to be not so compatible. Sebastian and Saber are now housed in individual habitats, in which they can easily see each other, but are not together. Their human caregivers are very understanding of their needs.

Sierra
Sebastian (below) & Sierra came to EARS from North Carolina in horrible condition, loaded with ringworm and calcium deficiency. It was a very expensive ordeal to get them back in healthy condition and now are very beautiful indeed. Sebastion and Sierra spend time in a huge turnout with room to run and explore.
